YOUR PLATFORM for 2012 - 2013: CHARMING

DESCRIPTION: We have chosen the word “charming” to describe this 2012 - 2013 Platform Cycle as it captures the quality of extracting from experiences “the best” and most most beautiful that can be extracted. Essence is not interested in ignoring the “ugly,” nor is it interested in pretending that it does not exist, but simply that you, as Personality, already tend to look for the beauty around you, and Essence is interested in sharing in that.

INSIGHT: As this Platform is not foreign to the Personality, we would think that the embrace of this perspective comes easily and seamlessly in the months ahead, but we also think it may amplify sensitivity to some obvious degree. This might trigger defenses and cause some recoiling, if confronted with something unpleasant or “ugly,” but if it is remembered that this sensitivity is there so that it can see the beauty, if possible, then it may help to simply shift perspectives.

PATTERN: We think that as this Platform unfolds, there would be a growing sense of enthusiasm, eagerness, and a sense that is almost like “falling in love.” A sense of blissfulness and lightness might be a part of your days, which is why any blow or distraction might seem shocking at first, until you remember that you can always choose how to see something, and then look for the beauty or the benefit. Keep in mind that there may not always be beauty or benefit. Sometimes the beauty comes from the ability to appreciate or understand why things are ugly or challenging.
