Another cool dream Diane!  

@Maxim -- over the years I've had many dreams where I've "merged" with another, where I "literally" become one with them. During the dream and when I awake it feels as though I have experienced the height of intimacy. I always wake up crying. Sex, as we know it on the physical plane, can't compare ...although we still keep on trying don't we?

Astral sex (different for me than merging) has also been a more ecstatic experience than regular Physical plane sex. Maybe the East Indians are onto something when they attempt Tantric Sex?

I had another Obama dream last night. I was going to school on a large campus with multiple ages from grade school and up. I was in a classroom that was supposed to be for people my age, but for some reason the students all looked younger, like junior high or high school. At some point Obama came in and started teaching the class from the front of the room, and then for some reason from the desk right in front of me (I was in second row on the right edge of the room). I remember thinking it was cool that the President was teaching our class. That was the end of that dream.

I wonder if it was symbolic or if he was teaching the younger soul ages.

Diane, what Robert Monroe described as non physical sex was two things.  First, were those fixated on sensation and stimulation who engaged in orgy-like piling on one another to that end.  I would take that to be lower astral.  He was not drawn to that.  What he had one night in an out of body experience was a connection to a friend who was a house guest.  In a brief moment he felt a resonance, a sublime blending of their energies.  I don't recall if he even discussed it with the person the next day.  Bashar has described sex in his society in similar ways... a momentary blending of energies, genitals not involved.

I find it amusing that we have all kinds of connections in the other planes that violate class, convention, politics, gender, and laws if we tried to translate them into our physical world which can be dreadfully serious.

thanks for going into your experience of resonance on the astral plane. That is fantastic validation - its good to know that sometimes the folk that we meet up with on the astral and do stuff with is meaningful, literal and can sometimes be exactly what it looks/feels like. Ive found your post very reassuring as the resonance Ive had with some essences both men and women have been also affectionate, being known, and respected too. Great.

I've had quite a few dreams with Kevin Costner back in the early 90's. (He was doing quite a few movies at that time too).  The dreams were always in a relationship, like marriage.  It always felt like it was a strong bond, mutual in respect.  Found out that Kevin is also a Priest, like me, so took it to mean that, YES, we do know each other on a spiritual level.  I hear he lives in Colorado too.  :-)  Since the millenium, I don't remember my dreams very often.

Very interesting, Diane.  This is making me take a closer look at one of my dreams.  In said dream, I found myself in a similarly intimate situation with a woman I knew back in college.  Not only was the dream very vivid and realistic, but she was very gentle and even submissive (which I found odd upon reflection because she is such an obvious, stereotypical Warrior in real life).  The sexual acts were secondary.  What really stood out was the love, acceptance, and sensual caresses/explorations.  Just a few weeks ago she kind of blew my mind when she told me she finds many of the things I post on facebook to be interesting.  Perhaps there is a more of a connection between us than is obvious.

Hahaha! Actually, now my description of the dream seems more sexual than I meant for it to be. I had meant to emphasize the affection I felt in this dream and the older one. That's what I meant by "intimacy" -- the older dream wasn't sexual at all.

I rarely have sex dreams, but when I do, it's with the weirdest people ever. Thanks for posting this, resonance on the astral explains a lot....
