Today I had a session in which I inquired about configurations.

MEntity: Hello, Janet. We are here, now. We may begin exchange with you.

Janet:

Hello Michael. It's nice to talk to you on a fine winter day.

Much has been posted lately on the TLE site concerning a configuration that includes a number of Michael students that I know from activities at the site. I am interested in finding out about any configurations in which I am a member, especially those that may be active at the present time, with any information you can provide about other members that I may already know or have yet to meet in this life.

In addition, in the 'Gateway' transcripts it was recorded that you gave this information in 1997 about working groups named for animals:

THE EAGLE WORK GROUP WAS IN THE THIRD CONFIGURATION OF SEVEN TO FORM AND WAS THE FIRST GROUP IN THAT CONFIGURATION, THE NEXT WAS ANTELOPE, THE THIRD HAWK, THE FOURTH BUFFALO, THE FIFTH COYOTE, THE SIXTH STAG AND THE SEVENTH WOLF. ….

THE GROUP WE HAVE CALLED STAG IS PRIMARILY LOCATED IN OREGON AND SOUTHERN WASHINGTON, WHILE THE GROUP WE HAVE CALLED ANTELOPE HAS BEGUN TO FORM IN IDAHO AND COLORADO.

Since I was living in Idaho at the time of this session and had moved to Colorado by the time I read the transcript, I'm naturally curious as to whether I might be associated with the group called Antelope.

MEntity:

Janet, your Essence appears to be a part of 2 Configurations. One would appear to be a Quadrate, and another being Sextet.

You appear to be in the Support/Compassion Position of the Quadrate, which includes a female Sage in the Love Position, a Warrior female in the Power Position, and a Scholar female in the Knowledge Position. This Quadrate appears to have a general Task aimed toward Sustaining Harmony, or true conflict resolution, with an emphasis in this lifetime for transcending differences for the sake of resolution.

These fragments appear to have, all, crossed paths at some point, if not regularly, and often marked with tension and necessity for healing communication.

Not all phases of a Configuration are pleasant, but are always aimed toward a grander view of fulfillment of tasks. Configurations can tend to work on one facet before moving to the next, etc.

Janet: Is this possibly connected to my work? I know that my boss is a Sage.

MEntity: It would tend to be in an area where conflict resolution, and transcending differences, would be of highest potential for experience.

Janet: Certainly my work is a major source of conflict needing resolution in my life.

MEntity: It may come as a surprise that some of those who contribute the most to any on-going need to rise above differences may very well be your members of Configuration.

Janet: Actually that doesn't surprise me at all. I just hadn't considered it as a possible focus for a configuration.

MEntity:

Most Configurations are seamless in a life so as not to distract from the choices of Personality, but to accommodate them as inherently as possible.

Configurations are agenda of Essence, and cannot be imposed upon a Personality, but Personality can easily feed into the Configuration's aim through its impulses, compulsions, decisions, fears, and choices.

"Everyone wins," then.

My thoughts on the Quadrate: Clearly this involves some Essence goals that are not unreasonable goals for a personality, though perhaps involving some potential discomfort. My (female) boss could very well be the Sage in the Love position since I have known her for about 10 years. But I have no clear idea about the Warrior or the Scholar, and I'm not sure it matters for this particular configuration. I have provided the Quadrate info here simply for further reference in the matter of configurations.

MEntity:

Your Essence's Sextet appears to have an aim that could be described as "Uninhibited Creative Expression." We might like to add the adjective "unapologetic," as well.

Janet: Well that sounds like me. :-)

MEntity:

You are in the Power Position of this Configuration, which is the Position who tends to be the most motivated and exemplifying of the aim for the Configuration. This Configuration appears to ebb and flow over the years as active and inactive, and involves family members as part of the Configuration.

We will suggest for you a means to consider who those may be by asking you to consider a few questions:

LOVE = who most inspires you to express yourself without inhibition, who seems to be on your mind or heart as hoping to benefit from that expression?

KNOWLEDGE = who seems to come up with ideas, or seem to influence your ideas, or be turned to for insight or feedback for fulfilling expression?

SUPPORT = who seems to be naturally encouraging of expression, passively or actively?

ECCENTRIC/REVOLUTIONARY = who seems to be the most resistant or rebellious as a form of expression?

INTEGRATOR = who seems to provide permission, context, or environment for personal expression?

Janet: Are all five family members?

MEntity:

The Integrator may not be directly involved, but could be the result of a teacher, teaching, or belief system, which may be represented by a person not known to all of you.

Support and Integrator may not be family members, then.

Janet: I will have to consider this.

MEntity: We will help to validate this as you consider it, of course, but we offer you ways to discern this on your own, as we encourage application of knowledge gained from our teaching.

Janet: I had not thought about creative expression as connected to family members, although my sister Sandra and my daughter Emma come to mind as potential members.

MEntity: There is always the possibility that we are incorrect in our delivery through our channel, but we can determine this possibility after your consideration. If you find certain family members prompting you to express yourself in uninhibited and unapologetic ways, which can come in a range of forms between playful to careful anger, you may have some clues as to the members.

Janet: And I will consider my father as a possible member as well.

MEntity: This does not mean you will have had to express yourself TO those members, but the decision for funneling your energy into creative expression on your own may also have been prompted by members of your Configuration.

Janet: I do not think I can consider and decide on the 'right' people for these positions in the amount of time we have today. Shall I mull it over and come back for validation in a future session?

MEntity: Of course. We will say that it would seem you are on the right track with your assessment, so far.

Janet: Does the configuration go inactive when all are not incarnate (except possibly integrator)?

MEntity:

A Configuration is always active to some extent, regardless of members extant, so when we describe one as inactive, we mean that its effectiveness of impact in the Physical Plane is minimal because one or more members is not incarnated, or because one or more members are not choosing to participate in the contribution of experiences. That does not stop those extant from contributing to the experiences that can be used for the Configuration when it is active again.

My thoughts on the Sextet: I originally felt that creative expression had to do with art and music and dance. However, these are not areas in which I have been generally uninhibited or unapologetic. (Although, as I get older I'm more uninhibited and unapologetic about a whole host of things!) So I have had to consider other forms of expression and I think I see the connection with family. Michael said that I'm on track to consider my sister, my daughter, and my father as members of this group. Who is in which position is really a quandary. I have absolutely no idea about the Support position at this point. I'm considering our shared family heritage to identify something about the Integrator position. If anyone has ideas about how I can pin down positions based on info you've received about configurations, let me know.

MEntity:

As for your part in Working Groups, it appears to be valid that you are a part of the Antelope Group, but not the Stag Group.

Janet: I had a strong suspicion that was the case. What is the Antelope group all about?

As for Antelope Group: this Group is one of the "newer" Groups to have formed, having been born during the pioneering of the United States, formed by fragments having been part of the move across plains that prompted a philosophy of "keep moving."

Antelope celebrate the Moving Center, and tend to be inclined toward DOING SOMETHING as solution, rather than pondering and philosophizing. These members need results, tangible trails of motivation that are either created or found for following forward.

These members helped contribute in great part to the development and implementation of the railway.

Janet: That seems to correlate with my life task, identified as turning being into doing?

MEntity:

As you explore all of the facets of yourself as Personality and Essence, you may find that whichever "direction" you approach yourself, through whichever context, and using various terms, if your resources are valid, there should be a consistency to you that is impressive and easily cross-referenced for validity.

Janet: That does seem to be the case with what I'm finding and it's rather awesome.

MEntity: We agree. We will conclude here for today, then.

My thoughts on the Antelope group: 

I read the Gateway material within the last year. I do not know if it has been published yet, but these transcripts were created by a group in Oakland that included Sarah Chambers when she returned to channeling in the years before her death. 

There is not a lot of new Michael material in these transcripts, but there were multiple references to the Eagle and Buffalo groups, which seemed to have a number of members associated with the Gateway group. 

There are a number of questions in these transcripts about the Buffalo group by a member of that group, which has/had a large representation in Oakland, according to Michael. Michael said that the Buffalo group was formed in Alexandria in the 1st century BC. Given the response, then, that the Buffalo group was the 4th formed in the larger group that included Eagle and Antelope, I presume that the Antelope group mentioned in the Gateway transcripts also was formed in Alexandria. 

Now 'my' Antelope group could be different I suppose, but I rather think it is the same one. For one thing, Michael has told me that I have ties to Greece, and unfinished business there. Further, although Michael said in my session today that Antelope was formed during the pioneer days, possibly the meaning is that Antelope group got its name at that point. This is because Michael said of the Buffalo group: "This group was of course not called Buffalo when it formed.... It was not called anything but the 'group of friends'." Elsewhere in the transcripts Michael said of the group names: "We have simply picked names for these groups that correspond to the type of energy that seems to be prevalent around them. ... Otherwise, there is no magic around this naming process." Michael also mentioned that several groups had different names at different times depending on what name might represent the energy at play in that time and location. (Eagle, for example, was once named for a bird that is now extinct.)

Obviously I have more questions to ask, but the connection between Antelope and my life task is simply delightful to me.
