Just to put a different spin on Essence Twin contact - here is an excerpt from a recent session I had with Michael/Troy re: my ET:

[Maureen]: I just found out that a guy I dated in high school has been dead for approximately 5 – 10 years ago – probably around the age of 50, three weeks after he retired. He was ‘doing yard work’ when he died from a brain aneurism. This really reminded me of the ‘raking the leaves’ that you saw in connection with my Essence Twin?

[MEntity]: We do not have access to the "private" or last thoughts of the fragment in question, except in so far as those types of details are available directly, symbolically, or partially. It does appear that the phrase is related to this fragment, however, and we would say that if you remember a sense of intensity around this fragment, you might validate your connection.

[MEntity]: There does not appear to have been much anchoring in the current lifetime, except in that the connection was made and secured, even if not on a conscious, constant basis. Touching base seems to be an important part of your shared dynamic, however brief or seemingly brief.

[MEntity]: The anchoring can sometimes be the source of grounding for the Personality, or act as a kind of secured contact for the sake of always including the Personalities in lifetimes where both of you are incarnated.

[Maureen]: I had often thought of getting in touch with him and his wife – who was also a very good friend from High School – but never acted on it. Somehow I feel cheated now that he’s gone and I never got/had more contact with him – is it ‘normal’ to feel cheated like this??

[MEntity]: Of course it is normal to feel the effects of change in such a way that renders some possibilities to end in some way. Though the possibility is no longer an option for contact with the physical Personality, it is not impossible to communicate with his Essence, which would include the familiar Personality.

[MEntity]: We think the easiest access to this experience would be through the dream/astral state.

 [MEntity]: This would be done by simply inviting yourself and the fragment in question to "visit" each other upon falling asleep. Though it would be unnecessary for the dream to be remembered, it is often very satisfying to consciously remember. If you prefer to remember the dream, include that as part of your invitation upon sleeping.

[MEntity]: It does not appear that you "access" the Essence much in this lifetime. Your dynamic is one that leans more toward the tangible side, hence the touching base and anchoring when incarnating. It seems that the two of you get quite focused into your "own thing" and then report back to each other, rather than having a constant stream of exchange.

Hjörtur, I met my Essence Twin recently (about 1,5 years ago) at work and there hasn't been any 'intensity' at all. I asked Michael about it and that's what they said:

<MEntity> Not all Essence Twin crossing of paths can be defined by the intensity that an intimate relationship would bring. There are some lifetimes where proximity is more important than intensity. This happens when Essence Twins want to remain close, but are in a "break" from any projects.

<MEntity> The "intensity" that may show up in this case may not be in the obvious way, but in a way that provokes concern, care, a little extra awareness.

Thanks Maureen and Janet Elam, it was really nice to hear some positive things about essence twins. Maybe it all boils down to the overleaves after all!

I will add that I recently found out that my mom and dad are probably essence twins. He is King-cast Artisan and she King-cast Warrior. They have always seemed perfectly compatible and have been married for 61 years.

Oh yes, I dated my Essence Twin, a Warrior-cast Warrior, in High School and we got along well, albeit we were quite young. My memory of him was a feeling of closeness and familiarity. I remember that I really liked his "smell", in fact I can still recall it. He died in his early 50's so I have no way of re-connecting with him now ...in this life any way. :)

Just for the record, other than Nicholas and Viktor and Hjörtur and his ex-wife, I personally know of three other pairs of Essence Twins.

A niece of mine, a Scholar-cast Server, and her husband, a Scholar-cast King. They met in grade school and have been together ever since. They have twins (a boy and a girl), they get along really well and are very close.

One of my task companions (who I know, but have not introduced myself to him as my/his task companion) who is a Sage-cast Scholar and his wife who is a Sage-cast Server. They are very close and seem to get along very well. They run a successful business together.

A friend's mother and father. Her mother is a Sage-cast Warrior and her father is a Sage-cast Server. They have had their ups and downs but they seem suited to me, are close, and they're still married after 30-some years.

Nicholas had a mate relationship with his ET. You can check out his blog for some of his experiences on the subject. There was also a member whose domineering Mormon father turned out to be her ET, and he incarnated to help her recognize and avoid restrictive philosophies once and for all. Unfortunately she quit TLE and the post has been deleted.

Well it's not easy being in a relationship with your essence twin although mine had a pretty demanding overleaves! I wonder if that always is the case? I really would not discourage anyone from pursuing such a relationship. They are extremly valuable in advancing your spiritual development,  waking, living and hopefully releasing the sleeping fears that have been lurking in your insides for centuries or more. But... Enjoyable? I am not sure if anyone can choose once they are in close vicinity of their essence twin. Me and my ex later spoke of our first meeting as being more of a "Wanting to get the hell out of there" at first sight, rather than love. When that moment had passed it just felt like a shower of crazy glue had firmly tied us together. It is first now, 20 years after that meeting, that I am now slowly leaving that time behind me, although in some areas I may never recover, I would never have undone that relationship. I would not be the same as I am now if I hadn't. I have left many of my worst fears behind now.

Aha, well, I'm pretty glad my ET has been discarnate for most of my incarnations in the Old Soul Age ;-)

It seems that connecting with an Entity Mate (which thus includes TC's) can work out really well (I speak from experience). :-)
