The Michael Community on the East Coast has for years organized a relaxing gathering at Twin Oaks Community in Virginia. The gathering has now moved to Claymont (
www.claymont.org) in eastern West Virginia, about an hour outside of Dulles Airport/Washington, DC.
These events tend to be very casual, relaxing, and just a great way to connect with other students and channels. The weekend should not be thought of as a "Michael Retreat," as much as a Student Gathering. Channels may or may not channel, and many of the core participants have preferred interactive workshops led by the channels, instead of actual contact with Michael through a channel.
Using "Open Space Technology" the participants create the agenda for the weekend using the pool of offered workshops and topic discussions, mapping out a schedule, and leaving it up to you to move from one to the next as freely as you choose.
Our arrangement hosts are
Ed Hamerstrom
(one M in the middle)
Rebekah Fairlight
and
Alexandra Hahn.
