Welcome!

Are you new to the TLE's Michael Teachings community?

Here are a few ideas for getting started...

  • New to The Michael Teachings, or would like a quick review? Check out the Quick Intro, and/or the Basic Video Intro!
  • Add a photo to your profile so that other students can get to know you, customize the look of your profile, and set your own personalized profile address. (EDIT SETTINGS.)
  • Fill out your profile. Use your profile to tell us a bit about yourself, and fill in the details of your Essence & Personality Profile, if you have them. (EDIT PROFILE.)
  • Don't have an Essence & Personality Profile? Check out the Services options and order one for yourself or someone you know!
  • Want to check out the Current Specials?
  • Want to make sure you only receive email alerts for the things that matter to you? Check out your Email Settings here.
  • Worried about Privacy? Make sure you check out, and personalize, the settings here.
  • Connect your profile to your Twitter or Facebook, or even Google and Yahoo accounts here for even more functionality within the site!
  • View the Members page and send some friend requests to those you know, or wish to know. That way you can send and receive direct messages from those friends and control access to the content you post. While you are there, check out the TLE Support Team! (Click ALL MEMBERS.)
  • Maybe there are fellow students closer to you than you thought!
  • Give us a status update: fill in the "your message, thought, feeling of the day" at the top of your profile page (Click MY ESSENCE.)
  • Introduce yourself in the Forum here, and maybe start a new discussion or comment on an existing discussion from the various Categories. (Click Forum.)
  • Share your thoughts in a blog post by adding an entry here, so the community can give you feedback. You can even use the privacy features at the bottom of the editing page to control who can see or comment on your post. (List of Recent Blog Entries.)
  • Want to schedule and host your own Michael Event? Use the ADD button at the top of the Events Page to create your event and share the news with the community. (Here is a List of Current Events.)
  • Check in on the Chat Room and see if other students are there! You can use the general chat room at the bottom-right of every page (just click that chat bar to pop it up), or you can use the official chat room here!
  • Check out the Various Groups within TLE here.
  • Got a channeling, Michael Teachings, or personal question for Troy? Check out the ASK A CHANNEL feature!
  • Want to keep track of latest activities, forum discussions, and blog posts? You can do so via TLE DAILY DIGEST!
  • Don't want to receive digests? Check in on the Leaderboards to see where the hot topics are happening!
  • SUPPORT - any and all Support Issues should be presented using a Support Ticket. DO NOT contact Troy through this site, through email, or through various other Social Networks for Support. You are not gauranteed a response unless you submit a ticket through Support.

LONG-TIME MEMBERS, please add your own tips and links to this thread! Thanks!

I'd add in two very community-oriented chats:

1) On Wednesday and Sunday evenings, there is an "official" open floor chat that begins at about 8pm ET and goes to "whenever." No channeling, no preset topic. Use the chat button on the top toolbar over near the righthand side.

2) There is an ongoing chat in the app that's part of the website--lower right corner. If the 3rd icon is red, it's turned off; click on it to turn it green. Use the first icon to open the chat window. Sound can be disabled within the app itself or via your own sound on your equipment. If you hear a chirping-like beep beep beep, that means that there are some people actively chatting (every time someone hits enter, it beeps).

There is a plethora of material available to read on the TLE site. Some of the Forum/Transcripts go back to 1999. Troy has been channeling Michael in Live Michael Speaks Chats (free) since then. The next one to attend is on the 2nd Sunday of the Month, beginning at 4pm ET. Sometimes, they're open floor questions and other times they're topic-based.

Is there a way one can change the order replies are shown? I thought there was once, but now I can't find it. Right now, it shows the most recent replies to a post first, or just under the original post. I'd like to change that so it shows the first reply first. If that's doable, of course.

As far as I know, no. Blogs are "most recent reply first" and discussions are reverse order. It might be because discussions include a genuine "reply," i.e., with content and ability to edit, whereas they're just added on to a Blog, i.e., are a reply to the Blog's owner.

I'd like to see a consistency to this myself.

Personal Open Floor Sessions (POFs)

Here are the basic details on how POFs work at this time:

There are four scheduled each month:

1st Sunday of Month at 2 PM ET

1st Monday of Month at 2 PM ET

1st Wednesday of Month at 7 PM ET

2nd Wednesday of Month at 7 PM ET

All are held in their own appropriate #POF_ChatRoom that is accessed first by going to the #Causal Connection chat room. Geraldine is usually the Moderator to these sessions and will issue an "Invite" to each participant as they arrive. One doubleclicks on the invitation to join the #POF_ChatRoom.

All POFs are limited to five people, plus Troy/MEntity and Geraldine.

Each student will be allowed to ask two questions when it is his/her turn. Both questions will be asked at the beginning of the turn, and labeled: 1) First question . . .blah blah blah; 2) Second question . . .blah blah blah. They can be separated by a return into two or more paragraphs.  There is no topic that is off limits. People have asked a wide range of personal questions and more general topic-based ones.

OR  A student will be allowed to ask for ONE profile.

The goal on the questions is to not exceed 30 minutes for answers. Some simple questions with a quick answer can have a followup; however, the goal is 30 minutes total and is monitored by the Moderator.

All students will receive a copy of the complete transcript at the end of the session. Any student may post to either their blog or start a discussion on any of their own POF Q&As; however, discretion is requested for the Q&As of others.

Generally, there is a block in place on scheduling at least 24 hours in advance of any session. However, if it is known that there is space available in POFs or the OMW, and "time is of the essence," contact Bobby, Oscar, or Geraldine for help in securing a known open slot that is blocked from being scheduled -- you will be requested to pay via Donations.

There may be additional POFs scheduled per month as they have been popular and are a "good deal" pricewise; however, these 4 are currently the ones that are being scheduled. You can secure a slot for next month at any time -- they do show in the schedule before an Event is posted.
