Why Is This A "Shocking Announcement?"
Suddenly, several of my more metaphysical pals on Facebook are posting the video below, with commentary and responses in awe of it, and praising it for its profundity. I've commented on the video on their Walls, but I've received no responses to my questioning why this is considered so important.
I really want to understand why people are posting it as such a revelation.
The points made in this video are:
- She claims to communicate to "UFO People" and "Librarians" who live in the Earth who have told her that on Dec. 22nd, 2012 the Earth is shifting into 5th Dimension called Noodle... (huh? what is a 5th Dimension, and why is it called Noodle?)
- There will be 3 days of darkness (no sun or stars).
- Governments are aware of this, but not telling us, and they are planning to leave Earth, or move into underground cities (10,000 of the elite)
- She says that we need to "purify our spiritual condition," but she doesn't explain how that's connected to this doomsday prediction, or how that will help us. She says that we need to "purify our souls" by drinking no canned beer or juices, exercise, and be nice to people. Okayyyy... that sounds like good advice in any event.
- She explains that she has proved reincarnation to herself because she can can speak multiple languages.
- She says that people who watch/attend "the conference," which I presume is where she was at the time, are people who are "saved," as there was a split in our planetary population in 1913 so that we have spiritual and non-spiritual people. Non-spiritual people will now have to reincarnate to a different planet.
- This is followed by a completely unrelated, ominous addendum set to dramatic music.
So what am I missing here? I'm not asking that rhetorically. I really think I must be missing something because all of the above just sounds like everything else coming out of New Age circles.

I've heard about the 3 days of no sun before but I am not sure where I got this information from? Anyhoo, I've watched the video so I am saved? ;-) Collecting blankets now. It'll be mighty fucking cold those 3 days of no sun!

I just DIS-proved reincarnation - I only speak ONE language...! And after when canned beer, lazy juice binges of nastiness have had, ENGLISH can proper not be speaken.

Thanks Troy. I can't say I care for fear mongering from the New Agers any more than I do from the fundamentalist Christians. However, I have always had a thing for librarians. I hope at least a few of these underground librarians occupy attractive, female, human, spectacled forms. So far as the Noodle is concerned, one of its occupants has appeared on television countless times over the years as he tried to prepare the youngest generation for the shift and impart his wisdom to us all. Here is one of his more profound lessons:

You're not missing anything Troy:-). As much as I would like to make a joke about this, I will respond with practical advice :-). (Being a Scholar I am right next door to Librarians!).
Many are responding to the message because we are in a transition between a young soul and a mature soul environment. Through observation over the years I have discovered that a lot of the individuals wrapped up in these 'new age' messages and the need to broadcast them to the community are strongly based in an early mature 'mind set'. We are in the see saw process of back and forth between young and mature levels and as there are more and more mature souls around, this message becomes more and more appealing. It talks about the end of the 'horrible' young soul greed and selfish individuality, and the birth of a new world consciousness community where goodness and that spiritual connection we all 'share' become a reality. Of course, big changes need to have big evidence and what can be more dramatic than the world being pitched into blackness for 3 days . Like the religious 'ascension' of Christ, the world will then ascend on the third day from the blackness of the Young soul perception to 'see the light' of the mature soul sense of community. There will be some who are disillusioned on December 23rd, but many will self-justify/rationalize it to themselves that the shift has happened, and for them,.it may well have even if there are no 3 days of darkness.
You're long past the mature soul experience so you don't need those lessons I suspect that many of those on the websites where you participate, however, are mature souls and that is why this speaks to them.
